[edit] Helping Students Create Their Legacies: Level 1
An interactive course designed to help teachers more effectively use service-learning, career development and character education strategies to inspire a sense of passion and purpose in their students. The course will meet at the Jones Middle School, 2100 Arlington Avenue, 43221, on Wednesdays from 4:30-7:30 beginning September 28- December 7. CEU's are free, Ashland graduate credit is $350 for 2 semester hours. This course is open first to all Upper Arlington staff and teachers from other districts may apply for open seats.

This leadership seminar is designed to help "graduates" of Level 1 further their professional development and collegial sharing in the areas of service-learning, career development and other aspects of experiential education. Class will meet approximately once a month October - May on Monday evenings 4:30-7:30 at an Upper Arlington location TBD. CEU's are free, Ashland graduate credit is $350 for 2 semester hours. This course is open first to all Upper Arlington staff and teachers from other districts may apply for open seats.
